Stat-Care Pharmacy will install a computer program/software at each nursing station to allow transmission of all orders to the pharmacy. When utilized, this program will ensure that all orders are transcribed completely and accurately. This system provides the ability to determine the number of written labels to reflect what has been ordered. These labels are used in conjunction with the facility's documentation policy. Each label designates a destination for the generated label and identifies who placed the order and the date and time the order was placed. Each daily order is reviewed for completeness and accuracy and then entered into the permanent medical records. By daily updating of all medical records the time required for editing monthly physician orders is reduced, saving costly nursing time. Stat-Care Pharmacy will provide the facility with procedures and training to utilize this software at no additional cost. Stat-Care Pharmacy will assign an individual to handle all the facility's edits to ensure continuity of information.
