Dispensing
- Stat-Care Pharmacy possesses an expertise in dispensing all medications in a modified unit
dose system
- Each card is color coded for time of administration to streamline the time spent locating
the correct card
- Each card lists the cautionary measures of that medication on the back of the card
for ease of reference
- Each label contains the complete physician directions without the need to reference other
documentation
- All controlled medications are packaged in RED modified unit dose
cards for ease of identification
- Stat-Care Pharmacy has the capability to vary its packaging amounts. Generally, LTC units
have a 30 day dispensing while a sub-acute unit may be reduced to receiving a 10 day supply or,
as the facility requires. This reduced the amount of medication that is destroyed with the acute
care resident population
- In addition, Stat-Care Pharmacy will dispense all IV medication on a 24-hour basis, thereby
reducing waste and expense
- Using a sophisticated bar coding system, Stat-Care Pharmacy can dramatically reduce the
chance for dispensing errors
- Stat-Care Pharmacy offers 24-hour dispensing
Deliveries/Stats

three (3) scheduled routine deliveries per day.
Stat-Care Pharmacy delivers all products and medications accompnaied by a multi-part delivery
manifest. Each manifeset is printed in resident alphabetical order and individualized per station.
A copy of this manifest is filed at the nursing station and serves as an audit trail.
